Save Your Skin, Save the World with Lush Charity Pots

Next Monday marks the day when slathering on a silky coating of super luscious botanicals will do more than just soothe your skin. Because October 15 is the day that LUSH unleashes Charity Pot, a hand and body lotion that helps to save the world. Every penny of the retail price of each pot (excluding taxes) goes directly into a charitable fund to support worthy causes like animal rights, environmental protection and humanitarian concerns. Among the first charities to receive funds include WaterCan, TreePeople, Amazon Conservation Team, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Clean Ocean Action, UNICEF’s Unite for Children and Unite against AIDS campaign. The Charity Pot, packaged in the signature LUSH black pots, features details of beneficiary charities on the lids giving consumers the opportunity to see first hand what charities are being supported.
