Red Hot News Flash: Sedona Yoga Retreat Goes Affordable

So remember that lavish Sedona weekend of yoga and spa treatments galore we told you about a few weeks ago in our eblast (If you don't get our eblast, sign up here. You might actually win something!)? Well, we just got word that the retreat was so darn popular that the luxury version of it sold out. So the ever-kind and forward-thinking folks of At One Yoga came up with another option. For just $175, you can still take part in the Journey Through Consciousness yoga retreat! The catch is that you have to make your own accommodation and food arrangements, and spa treatments are a la carte. Not a bad deal when you think about being surrounded by breathtaking red rock vistas for a weekend and taking classes led by the Valley's rock star yoga instructors. Here are the details:

At One Yoga and Mii Amo spa at Enchantment Resort in Sedona are teaming up for a weekend getaway guaranteed to revitalize your mind, booty and soul. From Thursday, April 3 through Sunday, April 6, 2008, you can take part in a Journey Through Consciousness yoga retreat with daily yoga classes led by Ian Lopatin, the co-founder and president of At One Yoga and Vanessa Lee, former professional speed runner and seasoned yoga instructor. Between classes, you can schedule a spa treatment at the award-winning Mii Amo, take a hike or just sit around and ponder of the natural beauty that surrounds you. During each of the three classes held throughout the weekend, Ian and Vanessa will guide you through energizing and uplifting yoga classes, geared toward all levels followed by meditative exercises designed to release tension and still the mind. Space is still limited so for full details contact, www.atoneyoga.com. To make reservations at Enchantment, call (888) 749-2137 or visit www.enchantment.com. If you can't make this weekend, a second retreat will be held October 3 through Monday, October 6, 2008. Photo: Venessa Lee.
