Girls Night Must-Have: Spa Conversation Tins

A girls' night without diversion is oftentimes a disaster in the making. Case in point, a few months back, a new friend invited me and a few other new friends to her home for what was billed as a girls-night-in. The plan was for all of us to get acquainted in a casual setting sprinkled with wine, food and good conversation. The evening, however, went terribly awry sometime after the cork was popped on the third bottle of wine. As we sat there in her kitchen, throwing out bits of conversation into the fire, a wayward spark ignited into a blazing fire bomb. I don't even recall what the disagreement was about but somewhere between too much wine, a clash in different views of life and sheer boredom, the conversation got so visibly heated that I wanted to run from her house screaming "Fire! Fire!" Suffice it to say, the evening did not end with us all holding hands and singing Kumbia. If only our conversation had traveled down a different road, the tortuous get-together might have turned out differently. And it was only after this calamity that I stumbled upon these cute little conversation starters from Always A Girl's Girl. New to their collection of conversation cards is their Relaxing and Rejuvenating set. The set contains all-in-good-fun questions like "Would you prefer your massage therapist to be: Patrick Dempsey, Matt Lauer, or Warren Beatty?" and "Love it or Loathe it? Botox? Facial peels? Brazilian wax?" Cute huh? Ah well, next time! Check out their forward-thinking collections of Conversation Tins and Confetti, Tees, Gift Sets and more at AlwaysAGirlsGirl.com. At just $12.95 a set, the tins not only make a cute hostess gift for your next girls night but are also great to have around in case of fire.
