Double Happiness at the Spa at Camelback Inn
Speaking of ultimate spa pedicures, everybody's favorite spa in town has launched a new nail treatment that will have you jumping for joy. The Spa at Marriott's Camelback Inn in Scottsdale has introduced the Double Happiness Manicure and Pedicure, a hand and foot therapy that strips years off your most precious commodities. Both treatments start with a peel that unleashes a glow hidden under dull, dry skin. The nail therapists -- most of whom have been there for years and are extremely friendly and skilled -- use June Jacobs minty fresh therapy products to massage, soften and renew your skin to a kid glove finish. The treatments top out with a pretty polish of your choice (try the new OPI Affair in Red Square for your toes, it's gorgeous). I tried it, I loved it and it was worth every penny of the $125. The manicure lasted a full seven days, which is a record for me. I can't tell you how long the pedicure lasts because I've had it more than two weeks now and still, not a chip. I kid you not. Regular manicures start at $25 and pedicures at $55 for a more affordable treat. If you decide to wrap up Double Happiness in the form of a gift certificate (hint, hint!), pop by the spa boutique and pick up the June Jacobs Spa Collection trio of the Peppermint Hand and Foot Therapy, Polish and Mist ($36-$38 each) to go along with it. Someone will love you for it. Photo: Just outside of the women's waiting lounge, which can get pretty crowded, is a patio area with private cabanas where you can curl up and nap. Look for it next time you go!
