Battling the Bumps: Joey New York to the Rescue

Nothing like monthly hormonal breakouts to ruin a perfectly good hair day. I'm happy to report though that I've found two bump-buster products from Joey New York that help you skip right through it. One is the Pure Pores Masque ($28). It's a powerful concoction of clay and sulfur that saps out oil while soothing and cooling the skin. Use it at the first signs of hormonal turmoil and up to twice a week to keep breakouts to a minimum. The other product makes me so happy that I could squeal like a sorority girl during rush. Joey's Chin Breakout Relief ($30) is an oil-free, germ-killing treatment that calls on salicylic acid to dry up blemishes. The best part is that the thin, milky treatment covers up the red while it works. Sounds gimmicky I know but it really works. I shake the bottle and then use a cotton swab to dot the treatment directly on any red breakouts.
