Arizona Spas Given Top Dog Status
The readers of Conde Nast Traveler have very good taste. In a poll conducted by the prestigious travel magazine, Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess was named as one of the Top 10 resort spas in North America and the Caribbean. For its annual poll published in the April 2007 issue, the magazine surveyed more than 5,000 readers who rated a total of 429 spas they had visited within the last three years. The spas were evaluated on Location/Setting, Treatments, Staff/Service, Rooms, Diet/Cuisine, Programs/Facilities and Other Activities. Out of 100 total possible points, Scottsdale's Willow Stream Spa earned an overall rating of 92.1, which placed it in a tie for seventh place on the list of North American resort spas. Most notably but not in the least bit surprising to me, Willow Stream scored a perfect 100 rating for its treatments. And hats off to Mii amo at Enchantment Resort in Sedona, which landed the number three spot. In other news, Hashani Spa at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson was named among MSNBC's Top 10 most romantic spas in the world.
