Handicapped Accessible Spas

A list of spas that accommodate special needs in the Valley area.

A few weeks back, we got an email from a user requesting a list of handicapped accessible spas. Apparently, one of the Valley's most beloved spas had some serious limitations and she was very disappointed in her experience. But we won't point fingers and instead, we put together a list of spas in greater Phoenix and Scottsdale with accommodations for wheelchairs and special needs. If you do have special needs, be sure to tell them when booking your appointment. Many spas have hydraulic massage and aesthetic tables that lower for easier access but they may have only one or two and will book your appointment accordingly.

• Willow Stream at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Multi-level resort spa accessible by elevator. Handicapped parking relatively close to spa entrance. Wide hallways, spacious treatment rooms and lounge areas and locker rooms are fully equipped for wheelchair access.
• Mozaik Skin & Body Studio, Scottsdale. Single-level day spa with handicapped parking very close to entrance. Hydraulic beds that lower all the way to the floor. Extra wide doorways, handicap bars in bathroom and wheelchair accessible sinks.
• Phantom Horse Spa at Pointe South Mountain, Phoenix. Multi-level resort spa with accessible via elevator. Hydraulic treatment tables that lower to the floor.
• Eurasia Spa at the Scottsdale Resort & Athletic Club. Single-level boutique resort spa where treatment rooms, bathrooms, steam room, locker room are all handicapped accessible.
• The Massage & Esthetics Studio, Scottsdale. Single-level day spa with nearby handicapped parking. Showers and restrooms handicapped accessible but no hydraulic massage/aesthetic tables.
• Body & Soul Spa, Scottsdale. Single-level day spa with handicapped parking just outside the doors.
• Spa Avania at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort. Sprawling multi-level resort spa completely accessible by elevators and fully handicapped-equipped locker rooms. Spacious hallways, treatment rooms and lounge areas.
• Sibonne Day Spa, Glendale. Single-level day spa with nearby handicapped parking. All doors are extra wide and restrooms are large with appropriate safety bars.
• Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Second-level resort spa accessible by elevator. Valet parking recommended. Lockers equipped with handicapped showers and restrooms.
• Golden Door Spa at The Boulders, Carefree. Single-level resort spa with handicapped parking nearby entrance. Locker room is fully equipped with handicapped showers and restrooms.
• Fuchsia Spa, Mesa. Single-level day spa with handicapped parking close to entrance.
• Pucci Salon & Day Spa, Scottsdale. Single-level, full-service salon and day spa. Handicapped parking relatively close to entrance.
• Dolce Salon & Spa, multiple Valley locations. All Dolce locations are handicapped equipped. The Chandler location has a wheelchair accessible shampoo bowl.
• Jurlique Spa at FireSky Resort & Spa, Scottsdale. Single level boutique resort spa with handicapped parking close to entrance.
• Revive Spa at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Phoenix. Multi-level resort spa accessible via elevator. Locker rooms fully equipped with handicap shower stalls and restrooms, wide halls and spacious lounge areas. The spa is accessible by wheelchair via elevator.
• VH Spa for Vitality + Health at Hotel Valley Ho, Scottsdale. Second-story boutique resort spa accessible via elevator. Valet parking. Locker room showers are not handicap accessible.
• The Centre for Well-Being at the Phoenician, Scottsdale. While the facility does have some limitations, the multi-level resort spa and salon is accessible by elevator.
