I first met Zethina in the lady's restroom on the set of a local morning TV show. She took one look at me, pulled out her magical makeup brush and went to town on fixing my botched makeup job. I have adored her ever since and now that she has her own spa, I couldn't possibly be unbiased. So we sent SpaGirl-in-the-field Angel to tell us her experience first-hand. Looks like Zethina has a new fan! Here's Angel's report:

Recently I promised to pamper myself with monthly spa treatments. I kicked things off with a chemical peel and customized facial at Zethina Cosmetics and Skin Care.

My appointment was on a busy Saturday afternoon; the place was hopping with makeup applications for two weddings. Through the excitement and chatter, an enthusiastic receptionist greeted me. After checking in, she informed me that my aesthetician was running a tad behind. No matter, the salon was adorable with an inviting ambiance. They sell cute purses, locally crafted jewelry, several lines of skin care products and Zethina's cosmetics. Owner Zethina has worked with a celebrity clientele and pictures of her with numerous famous faces line the walls.

A short while later, my super sweet aesthetician came to fetch me. She led me to a treatment room filled with soothing music and my hour of bliss began. I was a little nervous of the chemical peel having never even had a facial. My worries were quickly eased as she kindly explained the process. She gauged my comfort level by closely monitoring my redness and tolerance of the mask. There was slight irritation, but that was quickly soothed away with a luxurious moisturizer, specially mixed for my skin type. Next was the neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage -- sheer delight. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and radiant.

My complexion was smooth and glowing; all traces of winter dullness were gone. I was so pleased with the service that I immediately made an appointment for a brow wax, requesting the same aesthetician. Even though I was late for the next appointment (bad spa etiquette), she painstakingly took the time to wax, tweeze, trim and pluck my brows into perfectly shaped arches.

The impeccable staff and superb service at Zethina has made me a client for life.
