Step across the threshold of Girly Girlz Tea & Trinkets and we guarantee you'll be humming "girls just wanna have fu-un" in no time. Located in The Shops at Zocallo, Girly Girlz bubbles with a fun, spunky collection of girl power meets diva-in-waiting gifts and gear. But there is more to this charming boutique than first meets the eyelash. Girly Girlz offers a playful party haven where no matter what the age, girls can just be girlz. Brainchild of Cindy Owens, Girly Girlz was inspired by a Mother's Day tea party that she and her daughter attended. Soon after, Owens embarked on creating a space that merged hosted parties with the convenience of one-stop shopping, and her concept bloomed to life on December 1, 2003. And while she's been going like gangbusters ever since, Owens is devoted to creating a personal and positive environment for little girls and moms alike.

At the heart of this sweet spot is the charming Tea Parlor and the deliciously feminine Diva Day Spa. The private parlor seats up to 15 girls and is stocked with feather boas, fuffy hats and jeweled purses. Themed tea parties like Princess Tea and Miss Charming include everything from pre-party preparations to the food and festivities on party day. In the day spa corner, girls are primped and pampered on shoe-shaped zebra print chairs and floral tuffets. Spa divas get glamorous updos, polished nails and a makeup lesson.

And yes, big girls can play too. Girly Girlz hosts baby showers, bridal showers and has even had a party for a young-at-heart senior celebrating her seventieth birthday.

From fun-filled diversions like the Princess Party Book and Hilary Duff's latest soundtrack to dollop-sized pots of Petite Belle makeup, the boutique features gifts for infants through teens. High on the ooh-and-aah meter are the matching mom and daughter Swankie Blankie robes, the sparkling pink tiara pins and custom-made sleeping sacks with matching loungewear.
